National Day of Action a huge success!


On September 29th, Coal Free Mizzou held a National Day of Action, gathering over 200 photo petitions from students at the University of Missouri.

Over two hundred people turned out over the course of the day to show support for strong regulations to help clean up pollution, including 119,136 tons of CO2 and 254.58 tons of NOx every year along with Sox, mercury and other pollutants spewed directly over the campus community.

These photo petitions call on both the Chancellor of the University and administrators with federal regulatory agencies such as the EPA, to properly regulate coal and require dirty coal polluters to clean up their toxic emissions and pollution before releasing it into our communities.
