Clean Energy Panel on Feb. 10

Ever wonder why Mizzou isn't already using renewable sources of energy to create more of its power? Want to know when they'll be able to take bigger steps towards being coal free? Is getting off of coal even a possibility in the near future?

We'll be discussing these things and more at the Clean Energy Panel on Feb. 10 at 6pm in Room 200 RJI (Reynolds Journalism Institute). The panel will be taking everyone's questions, so its a great opportunity to get some answers.

We're rushing to get all the speakers we want at the panel. So far we have Jim Pierobon, a policy and marketing executive for Standard Solar in Washington DC. He'll be Skyping in. Henry Robertson, an energy policy expert from St. Louis, will join us. Also MU's sustainability coordinator, Steve Burdic, will be there to talk about what MU is already doing. Hopefully some members of the Environmental Affairs and Sustainability Committee will be on the panel and attending too.

Be there and get involved in Mizzou's energy future!
